I’m unboxing a newer skincare line that I’ve heard lots about–Brandless skincare. I’m trying it out and this Brandless skincare review will give you all the facts.

Brandless is the creator of innovative products. They use quality materials and clean ingredients. Their products are aimed at helping you live well and take better care of yourself, your family and your home.
Their products are sold online and used to include a variety of everyday essentials, like clean and cruelty-free beauty products, non-GMO and organic food, non-toxic household cleaners, and kitchen utensils.
I say used to because the company has a new CEO who has drastically changed the company. They no longer offer organic food products and the prices have increased. This has resulted in many negative complaints.
However, Brandless still offers an affordable line of skincare products that include facial wipes, cleansers, toners, facial scrubs, moisturizers night creams and more. I tried five items from their line, and here’s what I think about them.
Brandless the Company
Is Brandless com legit?
When Brandless started in 2014, everything on the website–which mainly was food items–was priced at $3. However, when the new CEO took over, the prices have steadily increased, and products have been removed. However, many of the skincare products still remain affordable.
Because of the initial low prices, many people have asked if this company is legit. Now, after five years in business, Brandless is definitely legit. What’s more, they offer good, quality products.
Is Brandless cruelty-free?
Brandless’ skincare products are clean and cruelty-free, and never tested on animals. What’s more, they’ve banned over 400 questionable ingredients from their beauty products, including sulfates, parabens, and phthalates.
What should I buy from Brandless?
So with the changes in the brand and the increase in prices, what should you buy from Brandless? Consider trying the Brandless skincare line. It’s affordable, clean and cruelty-free. Here’s my Brandless skincare review:
Brandless Skincare Review

Delivery was super-fast. I received the products within two days of placing the order. The box arrived via FedEx with everything well-packaged.

Inside were five basic skincare products that I was excited to try. One other item–the Grapefruit Facial Cleanser–was on backorder, so I’ll have to try that one another time.

The products I received included the Grapefruit Facial Scrub, the Detoxifying Facial Wipes, the Facial Toner Spray with rosewater, the Facial Lotion, and the Night Cream. The entire line cost me just a little over $40, including shipping.

The Grapefruit Facial Scrub is an exfoliating scrub with smoothing, softening polish. It’s sulfate- and phthalate-free and contains no dyes.
I found this scrub to be a little too harsh for my skin, but my teenage daughter loved it. It left her skin smooth with a matte finish.

The Detoxifying Tea Tree Facial Wipes are great for removing makeup and uncovering your glow. It’s made with 100% plant-based fiber substrates, and contain detoxifying tea tree oil & diatomaceous earth.
I absolutely love these wipes. They removed all the makeup and dirt from my face and left me with clean, smooth, and hydrated skin. My daughter also loved these as a gentle cleanser.

The Facial Toner Spray is made without any drying alcohol, and the mist features moisturizing rosewater & soothing aloe. It leaves the skin feeling dewy and hydrated.
This product was probably both of our favorites. It smells so good and soothes the skin, leaving a fresh clean scent.

The Facial Lotion is made with safflower oil and is paraben- and phthalate-free. It’s lightweight, but moisturizing and can be worn alone or under SPF and makeup.
I was afraid this moisturizer would be too lightweight for the dry areas on my face, but it kept me moisturized all day. It also gave my face somewhat of a matte finish.

The last item in this Brandless skincare review is the Night Cream. Containing moisturizing shea butter, this cream gives you a softer, silkier complexion. It’s also free of parabens and phthalates.
My skin loved this night cream. It felt so silky going on and my skin seemed to drink it up. My daughter also loved how it made her skin look and feel, and she stayed in the mirror for seemingly hours admiring her skin.
Overall, this skincare line from Brandless is a win for me. I’m anxious to try the Grapefruit Facial Cleanser in place of the scrub and will place an order once it’s back in stock.
