Green Tea Face Mask for Wrinkles

This homemade face mask is the best face mask for wrinkles. It features hydrating and tightening ingredients like Matcha green tea and star anise. When used consistently, it's the best way to reduce facial wrinkles.

Ingredients

  • 5 star anise pods
  • 1/2 banana, ripe
  • 1 small white potato
  • 1 tsp Matcha green tea

Instructions

  • Place star anise pods in sauce pan with 1/2 cup of water. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off heat and let cool.
  • Wash the potato and place it in a sauce pan. Cover with water and boil for 3 minutes. Turn off heat and let cool.
  • Peel and chop the banana and place in blender cup.
  • Peel the potato and chop it into small pieces. Add 1/4 cup of the potatoes to the blender cup.
  • Blend the potatoes with the banana until smooth.
  • Take 1/4 cup of the blended mixture and add 1 tsp of the star anise water and the Matcha powder. Mix well.

Notes

Application: Clean skin using a natural facial cleanser, then exfoliate (this apple cider scrub is a great one).
Now apply the green tea face mask using a facial brush or fingers. Let it sit on skin for up to 30 minutes. Rinse with cool water and pat dry. Use 2 - 3 times a week for best results.
Note: Don't discard the excess star anise water! Use it to create an anti-aging toner (like this star anise skin tightening toner). 
You can substitute regular green tea for the Matcha. Simply take green tea leaves and blend into a powder. Use 1 tbsp of the blended tea instead of the Matcha.
